Lunch at Granny and Poppa's House

Yesterday we went to Collin's mom and dad's house for lunch. Collin's sister and her husband were there along with their two kids, Sheldon and Landon, who we don't see NEARLY enough (they live a couple hours away)! Sheldon was in charge of decorating Granny and Poppa's tree. Look how proud he is... Later, Landon bumped his head while using the bathroom. His mom put a band-aid on it so he would feel better. After, Landon was in a much better mood and wanted me to take a picture of it. So we took a few.

We brought Marley and Oso with us. Oso LOVES the kitchen. With so many people around, he gets a lot of little tiny treats. Some accidental, some not so much.

My Dogs Like Cheerios

These guys love cheerios. I dropped one on the floor while eating breakfast and Oso ate it. So of course, I had to throw one to Marley, too. So they sat a few feet behind me, waiting and watching.

I am thankful for...

Rough housing with nephews. Poor little Carter. As always, Alex. My brother's little boy, Carter. He was my shadow all afternoon. I could do an entire post just with the pics I took of this kid. In fact, I think I will. Cute little name cards. Enough family to fill these two tables and enough kids for a kid table in the dining room (through the arch). Can you spot my shadow again? A tolerant husband who will let me take pics of us. He's not a fan of the "holding the camera out at arms length and smiling" method.Rock Band. Hot husbands who look just as hot playing pretend guitars as they do to real guitars.Blurry backup singers. More blurry backup singers.

Thanksgiving BINGO. Cute second cousin's who win BINGO.
Austin, playing some BINGO.
Braden, he just had some pie. Moms. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Happy

Christmas Cards by Jen

Click on the pic to get your own!

Williams-Sonoma

Jen emailed me today while I was at work and asked me if I wanted to go toto buy her grandma a potato ricer (a fancy schmancy potato masher). So I did. I love hanging out with Jen.

Jen, standing in front of Williams Sonoma. (Isn't her scarf almost as cute as mine? Ok, it's just as cute).

Me, posing with headless mannequins. Is it weird to pose with headless mannequins?

See ya!

You Know It's Time For Bed When...

you convince yourself that the fake flower on your counter top is staring at you. I need to stop blog stalking/hopping and get some sleep.

What It's Come Down To

As I pondered what to blog about today (while still wearing my favorite new scarf) I noticed my kitchen table is a bit dusty (see left). So after a swipe of my arm, it's not dusty anymore. Only 5 more days until NaBloPoMo is over!

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go dust the rest of my table. Have a great day!

How Cute Is This Scarf?

I bought it at Old Navy on Friday night and wore it ALL weekend.

At Least My Dogs Don't Shed

I wore a yellow sweater to church today that shed all over my black skirt. At least I looked cute from afar.

More Alex

Maybe someday I'll have one of my own instead of blogging about my nephew, Alex. Until then, smiley Alex will have to do. He may be wearing blue, but this kid is a Utes fan (his jacket is red, I swear!)

Additional Twilight Pic I Stole From Joy's Blog

My shirt says "Cold Hands Are Hot" if you are having trouble reading it. Dang, we're hot!!

Tired, so tired.

Really cheesy vampire books apparenly make really cheesy vampire movies.

At least I got to hang out with my awesome sister. And all these people.

So while I'm sleeping off my Twilight hangover, Collin is spending the day outside painting the shed.

It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's... Brady?

While flipping through Collin's pictures of the Scout trip last weekend, I came across this one and couldn't quite wrap my head around what was going on. Did Malachi fall? Is Brady flying to his rescue? Wait, Brady can fly?
Then I realized it was taken sideways. Shawnee may beg to differ, but alas, Brady is not SuperMan. Would have been a lot cooler if he was, though...
